What this site keeps
no tracking. no ads. no analytics. here is everything that is stored.
// if you just visit
Browsing the public pages sets no cookies and stores nothing about you on our servers. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and no pixels. Fonts and scripts are served from this site, not from Google or a content network.
Your browser does keep a few preferences on your own device. They never leave it, and clearing site data removes them:

// cookies
Cookies are only set when you do something that needs one. All are signed so they cannot be altered, and none is used for tracking.

// if you have an account
Members and admins sign in with a passkey, not a password. We store:
- your display name and role, and the public half of your passkey (the private half never leaves your device);
- your theme settings, if you change them while signed in, so they follow you between devices;
- messages you send in live chat, with the name shown beside them (a host can delete them);
- a log of account actions such as redeeming an invite or changing a setting.
// what we do not keep
- Your IP address is used briefly to slow down abuse (rate limiting). It is not written to our database.
- Our hosting provider, Netlify, keeps its own standard server logs, which are outside this site's code.
- When identity checks are added for adults-only areas, the plan is to keep only a pass or fail and a date. Photos or ID images are not kept.
- The live camera page loads a script from this site, so cameras do not send visitor details to a third party.
